Nice Shiner!

Brian has been playing indoor soccer every Tues. night for the past year or so, and he has had a couple of other injuries, but this one takes the cake!

He and another guy from the other team were attempting to go for the ball, and they collided. Well, Brian took the brunt of that collision and not only did he get a beautiful black eye, but he also had to get 3 stitches underneath, and 10 stitches on top (thank goodness one of his teammates is a family Dr. and he told Brian just to come over to his office afterward so he could stitch him up--thanks Doug!!).

Even though he looked awful for the next week, he still LOVES playing with his team, and they even won the championship--way to go RED CHAOS!

THERE WERE 4 IN A BED. . .
My 4 little sweeties all in a row. Brian snapped this cute little picture on a Sunday afternoon. We love to see them all with happy faces at the same time.
GOING TO CHINA?
Recently we had some good friends move to China. They gave each of the girls an authentic Chinese dress and shoes. Sadie LOVES to wear hers. She wore it to church and had many compliments.
Since they were leaving they ended up giving us many things that they could not take with them.
This porch swing is one of our family's favorites! The girls love to swing on it, and so do I. Thank you so much Linda, Tim and Terry!!

Owee! That looks like it hurt. At least his team won :) The girls look so cute all snuggled up together. I love those moments.

What are the odds that the wound/stitches follow the same line as Brian's well-groomed brow? Impeccable placement.

What these guys won't do for a little FUN! Hope it heals quickly. As for those DARLING little girls, I miss them so much which makes this blog so nice.

That really was a shiner!!! I always find it humorous that many men don't let things like that deter them, that would have been my final game!

Such sweet girls. I wish we lived closer so we could know them better, but it's so fun getting to know them through your cute blog!!
