Lydia & grandma. Grandma always knew how to calm Lydia down, just take her outside.
We love grandpa too, especially with his comfy shoulders!
No matter how tired, there's always time for a story before bed.

The first day of school, Haley has quite the sly smile, but she had a great day!
Lydia is too smart for her own good. In no time at all, as soon as her clothes came off, she figured out how to get her diaper off.
This is what we did while the girls were at school. We love doing the laundry together.
| A thrilling game of Monopoly | <>>>>>
It came down to Haley and mom, and even though she put up an awesome fight, Haley took a turn for the worst and mom won!

"Hey Cowgirls. . . see the grass, don't eat it" (taken from "A League of Their Own"). So in Texas, we don't have very soft grass (unless you plant it every season), so as soon as we got into Utah I told the girls to take their shoes off and enjoy the grass.
We walked in it . . .
We sat in it . . .
We even ate in it, we loved it!!!
Sadie even lost her tooth in it. Her very 1st tooth!! Wow!
Not only do we love the grass in Utah, but we also LOVE the CREAMERY at BYU!
These are the 1st of a bunch from our trip to Utah and Idaho. Hopefully there will be more to come soon!

Caitlyn and Sadie had birthdays within 2 weeks of each other.
Caitlyn celebrated with a cake decorated by herself (she got to put sprinkles galore wherever she wanted).
Sadie wanted a more sophisticated Dora cake.
Caitlyn, with her pretty little skirt G-ma B. got her.
G-ma B. also got her some fun supplies (i.e. notebook, stencils, etc.) She was so excited, that was the 1st thing she was going to use!
Sadie also got supplies, and a beautiful backpack, of which I forgot to take a picture (sorry). She's so excited to use it for Kindergarten this year!
She also got some "rockin" sunglasses!
My "big" girls--I love ya!!!

So the YMCA thought they would try and do soccer in the summer this year--not one of their best ideas.
But I am glad they did it because it gave Sadie an opportunity to try it out. I was so shocked her 1st game. She got right in there and never hesitated. I would've thought that she had special training or something because she was a little professional.
She did so well, even scoring several points while she was in!

The butterfly cake she asked for.
Our little Haley turned 8 last month--Wow! What a monumental year. We were very excited for her because she chose to be baptized as well.
Here is the beautiful dress that she got from Grandma Brems.
She got some fusion beads as well. Everyone enjoyed these. (You put them into a design, and then iron them and they stay together)
Thank you to all who came to support Haley at this wonderful time in her life!!

12 years ago on a chilly Idaho day we were married and so it began. We've had our up's and our down's, but no one has more fun than I do when it comes to rollercoasters!!
So, thank you my sweetheart for all your love, and friendship, but especially thank you for your PATIENCE!!
I look forward to another 12 years and what they hold for us. . .together!!

I know it's been a while, and we've had lots happen since my last post, so I'll add a few fun things to get the ball rolling.
This video is of Caitlyn singing to Lydia to keep her happy while I was getting things together to leave somewhere. I didn't ask her to do it, she just went over there because Lydia was crying and once Caitlyn started, Lydia immediately stopped crying.
Now whenever Lydia sees Caitlyn, she always smiles at her, Lydia absolutely LOVES Caitlyn!!

Today there's lots of snow in Texas! These pictures show how much there was. School was canceled today there was so much snow. Even if the bus did come it would not have come until 10:00 am
This is a snowman. You can see his pinecone arms and little hat. It was fun making him. We could not find any eyes for him though.
Above you can see how deep the snow is by looking at my feet.
