Time Out For Women

To all of the daughters this year, Brian's mom gave us tickets to the Time Out For Women in St. George Utah. These were our birthday gifts this year and it was a wonderful present!!!

We enjoyed listening to Hilary Weeks, Emily Watts, Chieko Okasaki, Kenneth Cope, and many others. It was such a neat thing!!

I think my favorite part was spending lots of time with my sisters and mother-in-law. I don't get to see them very much, except for weddings or reunions every other year, so this was such a treat.

I even got to see my friend Amy from when Brian was in PT school 10 years ago.

All I have to say is "THANK YOU" mom. I had a blast and am so thankful that plans were made to accommodate me and Lydia.

This is the whole crew at The Hard Rock Cafe in Vegas.

Happy birthday's were shouted out to Melinda and Lindsey!!

Shout out!

This is a "shout out" to my good friend Bobi. She made this adorable car-seat cover, and I LOVE it.

I have also had many people comment on it and wanted one of their own.

Too bad they don't have a wonderful friend like mine!!!

"BOO"

Halloween, halloween, trick-or-treat. . .

I had a friend who let me borrow this little tigger outfit for Lydia.

Here's my brave trick-or-treaters: Meghan the black cat, Sadie (Barbie Fairytopia), Caitlyn (wearing a Tutu that grandma made for her), and Haley our Princess Leah.

"Don't you dare touch my candy"!

Pumpkin Procrastination

We got 2 pumpkins a week before Halloween, but the earliest we could carve them was Friday night.

The girls enjoyed helping, although they didn't really want to touch the pumpkin "guts", so they put on food service gloves (that's girls for ya)

In the end, dad was the one who put the final touches on the pumpkins.

The sad part was we ended up not even putting them outside, or even lighting them up, because we forgot. Oh, well, they still looked good!

Why we love Grandma

Some of the reasons why we love when grandma comes to visit,
#1 She lets us play with things mom won't (playdough and helping to cut out sugar cookies)

#2 She doesn't follow all the rules (no more "paci" after naptime)

#3 She actually plays games we want to play

We love you grandma--you make us ALL smile!!

Playing Catch-up

Brian and Lydia trying to catch-up on some zzzzz's

Not sure if this looks comfortable or not, but this is how Brian get's massaged and his back popped now-a-days.

Caitlyn wanted to wear this little dress everyday, and who could argue with her, she looks so darn cute in it!!

My girls love it when Grandma is here, even if it just means that she sits and watches them play, although she jumped with them a LOT!!
