Happy Anniversary!!

12 years ago on a chilly Idaho day we were married and so it began. We've had our up's and our down's, but no one has more fun than I do when it comes to rollercoasters!!

So, thank you my sweetheart for all your love, and friendship, but especially thank you for your PATIENCE!!

I look forward to another 12 years and what they hold for us. . .together!!

Finally an Update!

I know it's been a while, and we've had lots happen since my last post, so I'll add a few fun things to get the ball rolling.
This video is of Caitlyn singing to Lydia to keep her happy while I was getting things together to leave somewhere. I didn't ask her to do it, she just went over there because Lydia was crying and once Caitlyn started, Lydia immediately stopped crying.
Now whenever Lydia sees Caitlyn, she always smiles at her, Lydia absolutely LOVES Caitlyn!!

Snow in Texas (by Meghan)

Today there's lots of snow in Texas! These pictures show how much there was. School was canceled today there was so much snow. Even if the bus did come it would not have come until 10:00 am


This is a snowman. You can see his pinecone arms and little hat. It was fun making him. We could not find any eyes for him though.

Fun with gifts

Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Brems for our new VitaMix machine--we LOVE it!! I absolutely love that you can make just about anything in it (soup, ice cream and of course smoothies) and it's pretty much self cleaning (LOVE IT)!!



So the girls got this little Barbie Jeep 2nd hand from a friend, but after charging the battery, we hooked it up and it didn't work. The battery was dead.
When Grandma and Grandpa Winter came for Christmas, they decided it would be fun to get a new battery so the girls could use the car.
SUCCESS!! Sadie and Caitlyn LOVE it. Sadie loves to drive it and Caitlyn is quite content to ride alongside. I thought they looked so cute that I just had to post this quick little video.

Haul out the Holly. . .

Every year I beg Brian to put up Christmas lights on our house, and sometimes he does it, but usually he's just too darn busy.

Anyways, this year I figured why ask him to do it, I could probably do it quick enough myself.

I soon discovered that we didn't have as many lights as I thought, and also that I was a little afraid of heights (don't like standing on top of ladder).

My other problem was that duct tape does not stick as well as I thought, and Brian had to fix some of the lights anyways.

Oh, well, now I know what I need to buy at the after Christmas sales!!!

Thanksgiving in Rockdale

We had a great Thanksgiving with our family in Rockdale, TX. Cameron and Rachel and their kids were there also. Casey couldn't wait to hold Lydia. It was nice to have several extra sets of hands to help out with the kiddos!


Mikie made lots of wonderful food.

Brian helped a little while visiting with his aunt Jerry.

Along with Thanksgiving comes football, and the whole Daniels family was dressed and ready for the Texas A&M game.


Caitlyn found her favorite place to play (obviously we don't have stairs at our home).

And Kiersten found her favorite places as well.



The kids all enjoyed the hammock as well as playing with Erin!!

Family Time

We had some family pictures taken at our ward party. Unfortunately I forgot they were doing this and therefore, no one was dressed up for the occasion.
