Sadie and Caitlyn got to go to the Sprayground for a birthday party.
Even though they don't enjoy getting really wet, they still had fun. There was also a playground there, so we had fun in the swings.
This was us when it was time to leave.

Rub-a-Dub. . .Four Girls and other Tales
O.K. so our other swimming pool kept getting holes in it (we were so sad), so just to last the rest of the summer, we opted for a (dare I say) baby pool.
Obviously the girls don't really care the size, although it was more difficult for them to all play well in it.
The 1st day of school!
I asked them if they wanted me to take them on the 1st day, and they both said "no, we want to ride the bus".
Forts are FUN!
After getting all ready one morning, I came out to the family room to find this. . .
Sadie had made a fort and her and Caitlyn were having a grand time in it.

Children's Museum of Oregon
What a fun time. Usually Grandma would be the one to take the grandkids here, but she had already made an earlier run to the Children's Museum with all the 5 and younger kiddos.
So, this trip was just for Meghan, Haley, Sadie (who had already gone in the morning, but decided to come again) and Taytum.
They started in the water room--lots of FUN!
Next, they headed to the building room, they are using the recycled tire stuff that they put under swingsets and play equipment.
After painting their own faces, Haley and Meghan wanted to make some art projects.
And, the final picture of the day--aren't they lovely?

A day at the Beach
We just had to go to the coast--the kids ran right out to the water with no hesitation!
Caitlyn somehow got me out there as well. After about 2 waves, my feet were numb.
I was in charge of making sure that she didn't get her feet too wet and sandy.
Brian took all the able kids to Haystack Rock where they looked for shells and starfish.

Vacation in Oregon Cont'd
Aren't these two just adorable? They decided to play with the chalk all by themselves.
Needless to say, when all was said and done, we had some pretty pictures and some VERY messy kiddos.
Still having a blast in Oregon, we decided to visit Multnomah Falls. It was so beautiful.
Then we just had to dip our feet in the water below (brrrrrrrrr)!
No matter how cold though, we didn't want to come out of the water.
After our hike and dip in the water, we had a nice picnic lunch and headed home for naps--whoohoo!!
The day is never complete without a little playdough time!!
Brian and I also had our days. Brian played many games of golf with his brother and dad, while I and the other ladies went and got a pedicure (I also got my 1st manicure)--FUN!!

Sunriver Fun
After the beautiful wedding, busy Grandma needed a break and some time to actually spend with the grandkids, so we all headed to Sunriver in Oregon. What a beautiful place!!!
Sadie fell asleep just about as soon as we hit the road, good thing Meghan was there to back her up.
Grandma took all the grandkids for a nature walk.
We had a great time--Brian finally has time to try and teach Haley to ride without training wheels.
Sadie had a blast on her little bike.
Brian and Grandpa did A LOT of bike riding while we were there
A happy crew ready for a ride (Sadie and Kirsten)
We also did a lot of swimming in the public pool. It was so much fun!!
Even though it was so hot, we went for another little nature walk at the Nature Center in Sunriver. We got to see some owls and other little rodents and birds. And Brian bought everyone there own cool little polished rocks (except Sadie chose a wooden little bug).
This vulture was actually at Grandma's house. It flew right in front of her kitchen window--we were all fascinated!!
