Every year I beg Brian to put up Christmas lights on our house, and sometimes he does it, but usually he's just too darn busy.
Anyways, this year I figured why ask him to do it, I could probably do it quick enough myself.
I soon discovered that we didn't have as many lights as I thought, and also that I was a little afraid of heights (don't like standing on top of ladder).
My other problem was that duct tape does not stick as well as I thought, and Brian had to fix some of the lights anyways.
Oh, well, now I know what I need to buy at the after Christmas sales!!!

Thanksgiving in Rockdale
We had a great Thanksgiving with our family in Rockdale, TX. Cameron and Rachel and their kids were there also. Casey couldn't wait to hold Lydia. It was nice to have several extra sets of hands to help out with the kiddos!
Mikie made lots of wonderful food.
Brian helped a little while visiting with his aunt Jerry.
Along with Thanksgiving comes football, and the whole Daniels family was dressed and ready for the Texas A&M game.
Caitlyn found her favorite place to play (obviously we don't have stairs at our home).
And Kiersten found her favorite places as well.
The kids all enjoyed the hammock as well as playing with Erin!!
We had a great time, Thanks so much to all who participated!!!

Family Time

We had some family pictures taken at our ward party. Unfortunately I forgot they were doing this and therefore, no one was dressed up for the occasion.
At least Lydia looked cute!
This other picture of the girls we had taken 2 weeks after Lydia was born. It turned out pretty good!

Time Out For Women
To all of the daughters this year, Brian's mom gave us tickets to the Time Out For Women in St. George Utah. These were our birthday gifts this year and it was a wonderful present!!!
We enjoyed listening to Hilary Weeks, Emily Watts, Chieko Okasaki, Kenneth Cope, and many others. It was such a neat thing!!
I think my favorite part was spending lots of time with my sisters and mother-in-law. I don't get to see them very much, except for weddings or reunions every other year, so this was such a treat.
I even got to see my friend Amy from when Brian was in PT school 10 years ago.
All I have to say is "THANK YOU" mom. I had a blast and am so thankful that plans were made to accommodate me and Lydia.
This is the whole crew at The Hard Rock Cafe in Vegas.
Happy birthday's were shouted out to Melinda and Lindsey!!

Shout out!
This is a "shout out" to my good friend Bobi. She made this adorable car-seat cover, and I LOVE it.
I have also had many people comment on it and wanted one of their own.
Too bad they don't have a wonderful friend like mine!!!

"BOO"
Halloween, halloween, trick-or-treat. . .
I had a friend who let me borrow this little tigger outfit for Lydia.
Here's my brave trick-or-treaters: Meghan the black cat, Sadie (Barbie Fairytopia), Caitlyn (wearing a Tutu that grandma made for her), and Haley our Princess Leah.
"Don't you dare touch my candy"!

Pumpkin Procrastination
We got 2 pumpkins a week before Halloween, but the earliest we could carve them was Friday night.
The girls enjoyed helping, although they didn't really want to touch the pumpkin "guts", so they put on food service gloves (that's girls for ya)
In the end, dad was the one who put the final touches on the pumpkins.
The sad part was we ended up not even putting them outside, or even lighting them up, because we forgot. Oh, well, they still looked good!
