I hardely believe it myself, but I just won 2 books from that Pink Lemonade blog that I posted about previously!! Who knew, I rarely win anything (although my mom would probably tell you differently).

Wanna Love you Tender

O.K., call me crazy, but I LOVE this song (maybe because it's crazy too). Anyways, if you scroll down to the bottom of my blog, I've added a video/song called "I wanna love you tender". Supposedly this was the 1st, or one of the 1st MTV videos. They must've been desperate.

Anyways, if you're having a bad day, just watch this video, and you'll be laughing before you know it--oh, and fair warning the song is VERY addictive!!!!

It's actually kind of fuzzy and keeps buffering on mine, but if you "click" on the link right below the video, it'll take you to a better version of it, and it moves a lot smoother.

O.K. so I found this cool blog that tells about lots of great savings, coupons or freebies of other types, anyways, the blog posted this freebie, and we've never used one of these redboxes before, but the girls are always asking about it, so since it was free, I figured "why not". Well, they have this freebie every Mon. you just have to get the code. Last night Brian and I watched the most recent Indiana Jones movie (very good by the way).

Where's the Dress?

Wow, no more torn little purple and pink dress. I finally hid the little dress that Sadie used to wear (everyday--literally). And she discovered the fun in wearing a cute different little dress.

We'll see how long it lasts though, because every once in a while she'll ask, "where's my dress" and I play it off like she's asking for this one, but I know she's asking about the other one. Is it wrong to take advantage of her innocence? Oh, well, they don't stay young forever.

The Marshmallow Game

Brian thought of this clever idea of a game for FHE. We used marshmallows (instead of rocks) to show the girls what it was like to be a Prophet of the past (i.e. Samuel the Lamanite).

Each girl enthusiastically climbed onto the chair and then proclaimed to the rest of the family what we were supposed to be doing right. We then all got to throw marshmallows at the person on the chair--great fun!

As you can see though, it ended up with the true meaning of marshmallowism. We had fun learning about the prophets--good game honey! I guess that's what you get when there's only 1 boy in the family.
