Living in a home with all estrogen and LOTS of drama, I have to send a big KUDOS to a man who does very well with it all!!! Thanks Brian. . .
We Love you!!! Happy Father's Day.
Since Brian has now moved into his new building--which is only about 2 min. away--he now has an office and desk of his own. About a year ago he told me that one day when he had his own desk at work that he would like a digital picture frame to put on it.
Well, guess what he got for Father's Day :)

Have you ever . . .
Have you ever had one of those gifts that just really "WOW'"ed you? Well with Caitlyn and Sadie--turning 2 and 4 just means that pretty much every gift is like that.
Even though their birthdays were a while ago, they got belated birthday presents from grandma B.
First, the card which not only had princesses on it, but also played princess music. Caitlyn really got a kick out of that.
Than for the actual gift. Well, being 2 and a total girly girl, she loved it--yep, a pretty little dress, which she immediately had to put on so she could dance around to the new card that played music. She also fought us when it was time to put pajamas on and take the dress off.
Sadie also got a cool princess card that plays music (which she also loves and has even memorized all the words to already).
Sadie's other gift was a beautiful little jewelery box with a Sleeping Beauty doll that spins as the music plays. In her own words, "I just love this jewelery box". She also got a cute little necklace to put in it with a little CTR ring on it.
Sadie and Caitlyn also got another EXCELLANT gift from grandma W. Oh, just a few of their favorite things!! If you know my girls, you know that they never go anywhere without their "burp rags". Well, all of our burp rags have literally become rags! They are so worn out, or lost that it was beginning to worry me.
Luckily Grandma stepped in and made some brand new burp rags so the tradition can now continue and we can be cute about it too!!
She also gave the girls each a cute little stuffed dog (Caitlyn also got a duck) that goes along with these great books--needless to say there are two things that each girls needs before bedtime--burp rag and dog!
Thanks Grandmas and Grandpas for making our birthdays so special!!!!

It must be SUMMER!
Well, it's finally time to put the sprinkler under the trampoline and jump till your hearts content. The only one who wasn't enjoying this ritual was Caitlyn (who pretty much stayed as far from the water as possible).
We did find something that Caitlyn liked though.

Dance, Dance and More Dance!
This year was pretty darn crazy what with all the dance we were involved with. Meghan had 3 dance classes and Haley had 1.
Haley had a Jazz/Tap class, and Meghan was involved with the Petite Company Group, which had Ballet and Jazz. Then she also took a tap class.
All-in-all, lots of fun, right up until the last week of school when we had 3 recitals to go to. Yep, I said 3. First, Meghan was in the Cinderella Ballet (for her ballet class they were the little mice--she's on the left), then the next night was Meghan and Haley's overall Recital, then the next day was Meghan's Company Review
where she danced the same dances, but they had other girls do competition dances that weren't seen during the recital. It was pretty darn exhausting!!

Nice Shiner!
Brian has been playing indoor soccer every Tues. night for the past year or so, and he has had a couple of other injuries, but this one takes the cake!
He and another guy from the other team were attempting to go for the ball, and they collided. Well, Brian took the brunt of that collision and not only did he get a beautiful black eye, but he also had to get 3 stitches underneath, and 10 stitches on top (thank goodness one of his teammates is a family Dr. and he told Brian just to come over to his office afterward so he could stitch him up--thanks Doug!!).
Even though he looked awful for the next week, he still LOVES playing with his team, and they even won the championship--way to go RED CHAOS!
THERE WERE 4 IN A BED. . .My 4 little sweeties all in a row. Brian snapped this cute little picture on a Sunday afternoon. We love to see them all with happy faces at the same time.
GOING TO CHINA?Recently we had some good friends move to China. They gave each of the girls an authentic Chinese dress and shoes. Sadie LOVES to wear hers. She wore it to church and had many compliments.
Since they were leaving they ended up giving us many things that they could not take with them. This porch swing is one of our family's favorites! The girls love to swing on it, and so do I. Thank you so much Linda, Tim and Terry!!

Birthday remembrance
Haley had a birthday at the end of March. She turned the big 7. We just love her sweet little addicting smile--Love ya Haley! Poor little Haley had a special little cake this year because mom was still feeling kinda yucky (thanks dad for thinking of this). Everyone actually enjoyed these very much because we each got our very own little bowl cake!!
I also had a birthday at the end of April. My presents were going out to dinner with only Brian, and having some delicious ice cream cake (that I made--yum, yum). Yeah, but enough of that.

Feeling Better
Since I'm finally feeling better, I can once again blog (phew, it's about time). Needless to say, now I have to play catch-up. Sorry for the randomness :)
Here are some pictures of Meghan and Haley playing soccer last month. We decided to try out the "Y" (YMCA) this year, and I am very impressed with how it went. The girls loved it and vow to take it again in the Fall. Haley after their team scored a goal (she's green #2). The boy on the left was the one who scored the goal.
Meghan's dance team went to a competition and won a beautiful trophy. This is her group with Miss Bonnie one of the dance instructors.
The Saturday before Easter our friends held a HUGE easter egg hunt for the children in our Primary. They had something like 1500 eggs hid in their backyard.
The first to go were the little ones. Sadie even found a gold egg (it had $1 in change in it). Sadie and Caitlyn found a lot of eggs, as did Meghan and Haley (they were running around crazy, so I didn't get very many pictures of them).
Well, now we know how they found so many--thanks dad!
